MEXICO – Secretary of State Matt Dunlap will be the speaker at the meeting of the River Valley and Oxford County Democrats on Thursday, Jan. 26, at the Mexico Town Hall.
Dunlap will discuss and entertain questions on all aspects of elections. Prior to the meeting, there will be caucus convenor training at 4 p.m., conducted by Maine Democratic Party Vice Chairwoman Marianne Stevens, and a potluck supper at 5:30. The meeting is open to all interested in electing Democrats. Rep. John Patrick will be the meeting host.
Internet workshop
WATERFORD – An “Introduction to the Internet” workshop will be offered from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, at the Waterford Library. The presenter will be Richard Beebe. Preregistration is required; call 583-4405 to register or for more information. Additional workshops are planned and will be announced at a later date.
