ANDOVER – The First Congregational Church will hold its annual birthday supper on Saturday, April 29, in the Christian Education Building.

The menu will include boneless breast of chicken with all the fixings. Early arrivals can expect to be served at 5 p.m. with other seatings to follow, said Ron Adams, chairman of the event, which has been a tradition for as long as local residents can remember. Dennis Bodemer is assisting Adams with planning.

Each table will be decorated to represent the months of January through December, as well as the four seasons. Judy Michaud has lined up the following women to provide a birthday cake for their individually decorated tables: Eda Perkins, January; Carolyn Merrill and Pat Thurston, February; Emily Bodemer, March; Beverly Swan, April; Jane Rich and Shirley Gammon, May; Sharon Hutchins and Nancy Wardwell, June; Laura Hutchins and Judy Michaud, July; Sandra Wainwright, Betty Moore and Bea Schneider, August; Betsy Belanger and Philena Chaisson, September; Cindy Gammon, October; Linda Percival, November; and Trudy Akers, December.

Tables representing the seasons are being decorated by Barbara Hayden and Patty Richardson, spring; Staci Coolidge, summer; Evelyn Bodemer, autumn; and Sandee Hall, winter.

The public is invited. Adult dinners will be served for $6; children 12 and under, $3; and younger than 5, free. For more information, call Adams at 392-2511.
