CANTERBURY, N.H. (AP) – A family hid in a bedroom after a man broke into their home during the night.
State troopers said when they arrived around 3 a.m. Friday, the homeowner ran out to say a man who had broken in was hiding in the house. He said his wife and 3-year-old daughter had locked themselves in the bedroom.
Troopers said they found Joe St. Germain, 25, of Canterbury, hiding under a blanket and had to shock him with a Taser to get him out of the house.
He was charged with burglary.
