AUBURN – Thomas Trottier, breakfast chairman of the Capt. Frank W. Hulett Post 1603, Veterans of Foreign Wars, is planning breakfasts at the post home, 588 Minot Ave., on the second and fourth Sundays of the month from 8 to 10 a.m. beginning Oct. 8. Breakfasts, open to the public, will run through April.

Trottier said, “We are anxious to start our breakfasts for the fourth year, as the profits help us keep our commitments to our community and our veterans.” The breakfasts will be held in the main hall upstairs. There is a handicap entrance on the Minot Avenue side, and the handicap restrooms are adjacent to the breakfast area.

Costs are one egg, bacon, sausage, homefries and toast, $3.50; two eggs, bacon, sausage, homefries and toast, $4; two eggs, two pancakes, two bacon, two sausage, homefries and toast, $4.50. Sales tax, coffee and juice are included.

Trottier will do the cooking on the grill. Eggs and pancakes will be prepared by Danny Theriault and Joan Hebert.
