BOSTON (AP) – An 18-year-old man was killed and four other teenagers also were shot early Sunday outside a house party in the city’s Dorchester neighborhood, police said.
Police spokesman Eddy Chrispin said a call came at 3:20 a.m. to report a fight. Authorities responding to the call found five people shot, one fatally, outside a home.
“They all appeared to have been either coming or leaving from the party,” Chrispin said.
Three other victims – two girls ages 14 and 15 and a 16-year-old boy – were taken to the hospital with nonfatal injuries, he said. A 17-year-old boy was treated at the scene. No other information was available about the teens.
No suspects had been arrested by later Sunday morning, but the investigation continued.
Chrispin would not comment on a possible motive or on how many shooters were involved.
