Friday service

WILTON – Churches of the Wilton Ecumenical Community Outreach will hold a Good Friday service from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 6, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, High Street. All are welcome.

Breakfast forum

WILTON – A Wilton Early Bird Community Forum Breakfast will be held from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, at the Wilton Congregational Church, 386 Main St. Speaker will be Rhonda Wiles of Wiles Funeral Home and Remembrance Center. She will discuss “Operating a Family Business in Wilton.” The public is invited to the free program. Donations will be accepted

Easter services

JAY – Bean’s Corner Baptist Church will celebrate the Easter season with services on Good Friday and on Easter Sunday.

The Good Friday service on April 6 will begin at 6:30 p.m. It will include readings, congregational and solo music and communion.

Events on Easter Sunday will begin at 8 a.m. with a “Son Rose” service of music and message, followed by a fellowship breakfast. A family-oriented Sunday school hour will be held at 9:15.

Morning worship at 10:30 will feature selections by the choir from “Risen Indeed” by Marty Parks: a call to worship, hymn medley, anthem and benediction. In addition, there will be dramas and traditional congregational singing.

The public is welcome to all services. The church is located at the intersection of Routes 156 and 133.

Community lunch

FARMINGTON – Old South First Congregational Church will serve its monthly free community luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14. The menu wll include Stan’s American chop suey with coleslaw, rolls and butter and gingerbread cake.

Delivery will be available in the Farmington area. Call the church office, 778-0424, during the week or the church kitchen, 778-4438, on the morning of the luncheon for delivery.
