Firefighters from Sabattus, Lisbon and Lewiston battle a blaze at 326 Old Lisbon Road in Sabattus Monday morning. No one was home when the fire broke out in the rented mobile home that was quickly destroyed by the blaze. A worker for Sabattus Auto and Truck Sales, located next door, had lived in the home, said fire Chief Robert Scott. When firefighters arrived, the front wall was engulfed in flames, he said. Oxygen tanks were found in the home but apparently didn’t explode in the fire, Scott said. He said an investigator from the State Fire Marshal’s Office was en route to determine the cause of the fire.
