The LAYHL Squirt Orange hockey team improved to 12-1-4 overall with a 4-2 win over the Gardiner Black Diamond Squirts.

Leading the disciplined team effort offensively for the LAYHL Orange Squirts were Evan Bowers and Kevin Bannister with two goals each. Bannister and Conrad Grimmer collected assists on Bowers’ first goal. Bowers netted the goal that sealed the win with 90 seconds remaining in the game. Brendan Donovan and Riley Whitcomb played a very strong defensive game protecting in front of Lewiston goalie Trent Spaulding.

Scorers for Gardiner were Jacob Folsom and Reid Cotnoir with a goal each. Chad Prince added the lone assist. Michael Poirier starred in goal for Gardiner.
