The Week of March 30th was Spirit week at VCS. On Monday, students had the special day of ‘Crazy Hair and Pajama Day.’ Students dyed their hair and some did crazy spikes, wild ponytails, and even afros. The halls were filled with students in robes, pajamas and slippers. Tuesday was Heritage day, students and teachers dressed up in their heritage. We had Asian, Hawaiian, French, Mexican, Irish, and Scottish. Wednesday was Decade day, students dressed up in costumes from 1910 to 1990.

Disney day

Thursday was Disney day and bright and early at 8:00, students showed up dressed up as their favorite animated characters. Mickey Mouse, Cinderella and various other Disney royals roamed VCS hallways. For chapel Mr. Levesque connected the Disney theme of transformation to the transforming power of our spiritual journey. Overall the day brought back childhood memories of watching the fairytale come true.

Friday color day andspirit week finale

Friday, April 3, was the best day of Spirit Week at the Vineyard Christian School. The theme for the day was class color with every grade dressed in separate colors. 7th and 8th graders wore black, freshman blue, sophomores pink, juniors yellow and seniors white. Friday was arguably the craziest day of the whole week, as all were enjoying creative ways to wear their colors. To mark the end of Spirit week at VCS every class K-12 performed short original skits. Everyone did a great job and we look forward to next years Spirit week…GO VCS!!!
