DERRY, N.H. (AP) – Two police cruisers collided in Derry, N.H. on the Route 28 bypass on their way to serve an arrest warrant.
WMUR reports one officer suffered minor injuries Wednesday. The cruisers had minor damage.
Police said the cruisers were on their way to serve an arrest warrant when officers in one car saw another vehicle speeding in the other direction. When that officer reversed direction to stop the speeder, the cruisers collided.
Both cars were towed from the scene, and an accident reconstruction team was investigating the collision.
