Friday, June 5, Dana Gross will perform with special guest Jesse Pilgrim, formerly Pecos Bill, above, at She Doesn’t Like Guthries in Lewiston. Both are from Portland. Drawing on the wealth of music stored in the hills of Appalachia and the Mississippi Delta, Gross creates lyrical songs rich in earth imagery, heart and struggle.
