NORWAY – The photographs and paintings of two Western Maine Art Group artists will be featured in the windows of the Norway Savings Bank Operations Center on the south side of Main Street during June.
Painter Emmy Andersson and photographer Zakk Maher are directors on the WMAG board. The married couple is active in exhibiting in the Oxford Hills and throughout western and central Maine.
Andersson draws inspiration from real life objects and situations, which she turns into slightly distorted and sometimes oddly interpreted shapes and forms.
Maher is an antinomic (an innate paradox) photographer who works with film and print photography.
