LEWISTON — Jessie Hearn was recently promoted to site coordinator at the newly opened Geiger after-school program.
Hearn has been with the YMCA since 2005 and has her associate’s degree in early childhood education from Central Maine Community College. The Geiger after-school program started during the 2009-2010 school year and offers gym, playground and game time for children who attend Geiger Elementary School.
The YMCA also offers a before- and after-school program at the YMCA site in Auburn.
