Consumer Council

RUMFORD — There are some serious cuts to the Mental Health resources through the Department of Human Services. This is a time for consumers with mental illness and their friends and family to take part and join the Consumer Council System of Maine in making voices heard in Augusta.

In Rumford the way to do that is to bring the issues of the community to the Local Council which is held every third Wednesday at 209 Lincoln (the old veteran’s clinic). Transportation is available with prior notice. Everyone is invited.

For more information call 357-4075.
