PORTLAND — The Choral Art Camerata, a 17-voice ensemble that specializes in a cappella and chamber-style music from the Renaissance through the 21st century, will present its Epiphany Celebration on Saturday, Jan. 5.
The celebration will be at 7:30 p.m. at Woodfords Congregational Church, 202 Woodfords St.
Conducted by Robert Russell, the camerata will perform Bach’s Cantata No. 72, “Alles nur nach GottesWillen,” in the first half of the program along with compositions by Claudio Monteverdi and Heinrich Schutz. Following intermission, the ensemble will sing a cappella motets and carols that capture the varied moods of the season.
