SABATTUS — Sabattus Seniors will meet Thursday, Aug. 1, at Maxwell Gill Hall for picnic month.

Members we be serving ice tea, coffee and punch. Appetizers will consist of veggie tray, chips and dip, cheese and crackers with pepperoni and kielbasa and a fruit platter.

The main meal will be chicken, meatballs, Italian sausage, barbecued hot dogs, potato salad, macaroni salad, pasta salad, bread and butter and dessert.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The price for this month only is $8. Members can play cards before lunch if desired. Appetizers will be available in the morning. Lunch will follow at noon.

After lunch members will play bingo, pass the buck and geronimo.

Attendees must sign up by Sunday, July 27, by contacting Pauline at 375-4037 or Joline at 375-4627.

There will be no business meeting this month, just the picnic.

Scholarship applications must be picked up at this month’s meeting for the drawing in September. No applications will be available in September.

Trips being offered include Foster’s Clam Bake in York; Washington, D.C.; Twin River Casino with show followed by Foxwood/Mohegan and Indian Head Resort dinner and Christmas party. For these trips contact Jeanne at 784-5264.

Also being offered are the following: Rocking Horse Ranch Resort; clam bake in Scarborough; Indian Head in October and Foxwood overnight. For these trips contact Helen at 375-6588.
