POLAND — A candidates’ forum will be held from 7-8:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, in the conference room of the Town Office.
Candidates for the Board of Selectmen, RSU 16 School Committee, library board and Budget Committee will be introduced by moderator Erland Torrey. Following brief introductory statements, candidates will participate in a discussion with the theme Our Town Now and in the Future.
The public will have an opportunity to exchange ideas with the candidates.
The forum is organized and presented as a community service by Friends of Ricker Library. The meeting will be televised on the local public access channel.
Town elections are set for April.
