NORWAY — Oxford Hills SCORE will present a workshop series on QuickBooks basics for small businesses from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, June 17 and 24, at the Norway Town Office, 19 Danforth St.

The two-session workshop will help attendees better understand how to activate and use the key features found in QuickBooks, used to process payments faster, turn on payroll and keep accounting records up-to-date and accurate. The presenter is Michael Fortin from Augusta, who has been an adult education teacher for 20 years with seven years devoted to teaching QuickBooks as an Intuit QuickBooks certified instructor.

Space is limited. Register by Friday, June 13. This workshop requires attendees to bring their own laptops, although SCORE will have a few laptops available for anyone who does not have one. A temporary QuickBooks Premier 2014 license will be installed on computers for the two classes, so come to the first class by 5:30 p.m. Indicate when registering if a laptop is needed.

Registration fee for the workshop is $25, which can be paid through PayPal or by check mailed to Oxford Hills SCORE. The workshop is free to veterans of the Armed Services. To register, contact Rebecca Dowse of Oxford Hills SCORE at 743-0499, or email dowse@roadrunner.com; or visit http://conta.cc/1gijLhv.
