LEWISTON — Christopher Henry M.D. has joined the Central Maine Medical Center medical staff. He is practicing as part of the Central Maine Urology Center surgical team.
Henry earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, Mo., and completed a general surgery internship and urologic surgery residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.
The coauthor of numerous professional articles, Henry has worked as a research associate at the University of Kansas Health Science Center in Kansas City, Kan., and at Proteon Therapeutics in Kansas City, Mo. His health care background also includes work as an EKG technician and an emergency room technician at North Kansas City Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
A member of the American Urological Association, he is eligible to gain certification from the American Board of Urology.
Henry practices in association with urologists Michael Corea, M.D., Jordan M. Kurta, and Paul R. Mailhot, M.D., nurse practitioner Rosa Hamilton, and physician assistant Heather Renihan. The practice can be reached at 795-2171.
