- West Paris author Jade Davis with her first book, “What She Wants to Be,” a wholesome story about a little girl’s musing about her career. Davis, who’s studying to be a teacher, tells the tale of Zoe, whose quest to find out what she wants to be when she grows up encourages girls to explore occupations traditionally segregated by gender. The brightly colored picture book is intended for young readers.
