JAY — Police are searching for a car stolen from a Claybrook Road residence between noon Sunday and Monday evening, police Chief Richard Caton IV said Tuesday.
The 2002 blue Toyota Corolla with a ski rack was unlocked and the keys were in it, he said.
“We haven’t ruled out it being connected to the vehicles stolen in Wilton,” he said.
There have been four vehicles stolen in Wilton since Aug. 1. The most recent, a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado, was stolen between 9 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. Monday. All four vehicles were recovered Monday.
Anyone who has information on the car stolen in Jay is asked to call the Jay Police Department at 207-897-6766.
