DEAR SUN SPOTS: Santa Claus has made an appearance at a church in Lisbon Falls in the past where the children can have breakfast and have their photos taken. Will that happen again this year? Thank you. — Kids looking forward to seeing Santa.

ANSWER: Breakfast with Santa will be held from 8-10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at the Lisbon United Methodist Church, 14 School St., Lisbon Falls. This will be a free pancake breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus for local children and their families. Children can have their picture taken with Santa “before he gets really busy with toy deliveries.” Although admission is free, good-will donations will be accepted. The second mansion that gets all decorated for the holidays and hosts an open house is the Foss Mansion at 19 Elm St., Auburn. DEAR SUN SPOTS: Good morning! I want to thank two lovely ladies who paid it forward last night at the Chick-A-Dee restaurant. My husband and I were celebrating our 19th anniversary and they paid for our dinner. How nice and unexpected. We thanked them and I gave them a big hug. So thank you again from a couple in Hebron.
