Ronald Bonsaint, 9, of Lisbon was honored as an Anthem Hero at Hadlock Field in Portland for his courage and perseverance battling leukemia. The recognition was from Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and its support of the Maine Children’s Cancer Program. Bonsaint, center, who is in remission, got to take a celebratory home run lap around the bases and received high-fives from Sea Dogs players. He is pictured Sea Dogs manager Darren Fenster and team mascot Slugger.
