AUBURN — The Auburn Public Libraryhas created a new weekly program designed to tap into creativity. Leaning Shed Crafters will meet the second Friday of each month for an hour of crafting and inventiveness.

The first meeting of the group will be at noon on Friday, Sept. 14, at the library, 49 Spring St.

With fall weather and colors approaching, the sight of pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns is not too far away, so the Leaning Shed Crafters will use some yarn, glue and balloons to make a yarn pumpkin project to add to your home decor.

This program is free and is open to the public, although pre-registration is strongly encouraged to make sure enough supplies are provided to participants.

Those interested in doing the craft may register by calling the Auburn Public Library at 207-333-6640, ext. 4, or registering through the online event calendar at www.auburnpubliclibrary.org.
