LIVERMORE FALLS — Treat Memorial Library has announced events scheduled for January. Activities calendars are also available at the circulation desk.
Tuesday, Jan. 1, closed for New Year’s Day.
Tuesdays, Jan. 8, 15 and 29, Lost My Stitches knit/crochet group will meet at 5:30 p.m. This month the group will work on mittens and gloves. Experienced knitters/crocheters and newcomers welcome.
Wednesdays, Preschool Story Time is at 10:30 a.m. and features stories, activities and crafts.
Thursday, Jan. 10, The Book Club will meet at 3 p.m. The club is reading the sixth book in its 10-part series on The Great American Read, “The Joy Luck Club,” by Amy Tan. Folks who need copies of the novel prior to the discussion should let library staff know.
Saturday, Jan. 19, LEGO Club will meet at 10:30 a.m. This month’s challenge will be to build a comic strip out of Legos.
Tuesday, Jan. 22, closed in observance of Martin Luther King Day.
