As inflation makes it more expensive to fill our gas tanks and grocery carts, Eric Brakey would work to restore the value of our paychecks.

As our state senator, Brakey would bring down the cost of living, suspending taxes of life necessities — like heating oil.

Brakey would reform welfare, getting able-bodied adults back to work, and restore vocational education, preparing our kids for real world jobs.

For affordable energy, Brakey would protect our hydro dams and push to bring natural gas pipeline to Maine.

To stop wasteful spending, Brakey would hold Washington accountable with a balanced budget amendment to the Constitution.

Sadly, his opponent, Bettyann Sheats, recently said “our economy is doing really well.” Is her her head buried in the sand? Where are her ideas to help the Maine people fend off inflation?

For New Gloucester, Auburn, Poland and Durham, my family is voting Eric Brakey for Maine Senate.
