I encourage the voters of Poland and Mechanic Falls to vote for my husband, David Boyer, for House District 87.
David considers every issue before making a decision and understands the stakes are high. What used to be families deciding to skip a planned vacation or dinner out at a restaurant are now families deciding which bills to forgo or how they are going to stretch their groceries.
David comes home after meeting neighbors with stories of hardships. Retired folks going back to work because they can’t afford their heating costs. Nurses who have lost their jobs. Students and teachers who are struggling. Neighbors who supplement their groceries from food banks. People who are putting off much-needed medical procedures.
These are real stories; I know, because David comes home affected by them. David remembers people’s faces and their names. I hope that David can count on their vote.
