NORWAY — Norway Memorial Library, 258 Main St., has collaborated with the Maine Mineral and Gem Museum in Bethel to offer a display of 16 tourmaline pieces and information on view at the library through December.

The display features gemstones in various shapes and colors. Anyone with a valid Norway Memorial Library card may request a pass to the Maine Mineral and Gem Museum at the library information desk.

The Maine Mineral and Gem Museum Education Outreach Coordinator Deborah Johnson will present a series of children’s programs from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month from November through April 2025. These six programs will feature monthly themes using science books and STE(A)M activities to help children be geologists who investigates rocks.
