I had the pleasure Oct. 11 of meeting Ryan Hawes, who is running for City Council in Auburn’s Ward 2.
I cannot stress enough how excellent Ryan would be as a city councilor. He’s a retired Marine who is a vice president in a local banking institute, raising his family in Auburn.
He understands business, but more importantly, he understands people and sees the “big picture” view of our great city. He’s open-minded and willing to listen to all sides of an issue.
We need more people like Ryan in city government. I hope everyone gets out and votes Ryan Hawes onto the City Council for our great city of Auburn.
