BRUNSWICK – Lamont White returned an interception 75 yards for a touchdown and the Bowdoin defense held Hamilton to 10 first downs in a 21-7 victory on Saturday.
Hamilton (1-3) scored at 12:43 of the first quarter on a 25-yard run by Claudius Zorokong.
Bowdoin (4-0) tied the game when Ricky Leclerc threw a 55-yard touchdown pass to Jeff Nolin at 10:57 of he second quarter.
White’s interception return, with 3:42 left in the half, put the Polar Bears ahead to stay.
Bowdoin finished off the scoring on a 7-yard run by Jeff Smith in the third quarter.
With the victory, Bowdoin moved to 4-0 for the first time since 1938.
