LEWISTON – Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice’s (AHCH) Autumn Night Out Fundraiser has already become overwhelmed with silent and live auction items.

The 10th annual Autumn Night Out Gala & Silent Auction will be held Friday, Oct. 25, at Poland Spring Resort. Tickets are $50 each and include hors d’oeuvres, wine and beer tastings, music by Denny Breau, dinner and desserts, silent and live auctions, raffles and music and dancing with the Tony Boffa band.

Autumn Night Out Planning Committee Chairwoman Cyndi Robbins said, “We are blown away by the amount of support we have received from our communities: be it sponsors, the incredible auction items donated to our fundraiser, or the number of people already reserving their tickets to the event. All of these individuals and businesses are ensuring that AHCH can continue to provide superior hospice care to everyone that needs it, regardless of their ability to pay.”

Auction items donated to date include getaway packages like a two-night stay at the Kimpton Hotel in Boston, dinner for two and an overnight stay at Mohegan Sun and a family beach house vacation at Poland Spring Resort, and experiences like a hot air balloon ride for two and Red Sox tickets.

Autographed items such as a Celtics basketball signed by Rajon Rondo, a Celtics baseball cap signed by Larry Bird and a baseball cap signed by George and Barbara Bush are included in the line-up as well.

Home goods and furniture pieces have been provided and arts, crafts and antiques run the gamut from photography, to hand-sewn goods, oil paintings, carvings, jewelry, woodworking and glassware.

The auction will also feature gift certificates, tickets and passes to local restaurants, theater and entertainment, pampering and health care, amusement parks and more.

Two tickets to the 2014 Masters in Augusta Ga., will also be raffled off at Autumn Night Out, though raffle tickets can be purchased ahead of time and winner does not need to be present to win. Masters tickets raffle tickets are $25 each.

Select auction items are available for pre-bidding online at www.biddingforgood.com. Proxy bidding is available on those items for those who cannot attend. Highest online bid will become the starting bid at the event. If the online bidder is not out-bid, the online bidder will win the item.

“There really is something here for everyone.” said Robbins “And with the overwhelming amount of items we have received to date, it will be easy for everyone who attends to go home with at least one item, if not two!”
