I urge Lewiston voters to send Peggy Rotundo back to the Maine Senate in November. She chaired the Appropriations Committee in the past and consistently found ways to bring differing parties together on important issues.
For years, Peggy worked at the Harward Center at Bates College. The center gets students involved with agencies and nonprofits, to the mutual benefit of the students and the community. As a result, she is very familiar with the needs of the Lewiston populace.
Peggy has been a consistent supporter of environmental issues and has received the endorsement of Maine Conservation Voters.
Peggy was a founding member of the neighborhood committee that helped establish the Pettingill School Park and remains active with that group.
For all of these reasons, let’s send her back to Augusta.
