I support Rep. Margaret Craven wholeheartedly to continue as Lewiston’s state representative.
Margaret has served in the Maine Legislature for several years representing constituents like me. She has made remarkable progress passing bills that help Mainers. Under the leadership of Gov. Janet Mills, Margaret has been working day and night. I have found Margaret to be hardworking and in tune with constituent needs.
I support her for another term to continue her work. There is more work to be done for the benefit of the people of Lewiston and Maine.
In 2011 the previous administration, along with the Legislature, reduced the state of Maine employee cost of living to 3% permanently, regardless of the amount of inflation, and further restricted it only on the first $20,000. Rep. Craven, along with her colleagues, voted to increase it to 5.4% to prevent falling behind for the benefit to the elderly retirees.
My thanks to Margaret.
