I write in support of Peggy Rotundo for the Maine State Senate.
I have known Peggy for more than 40 years, and I watched with admiration her years of work in the Legislature.
One of her defining qualities is absolute and consistent integrity, and an unwavering desire to use the powers of government to help the people of Lewiston, whether that be with appropriate funding for education at all levels, services for veterans, help for the disabled, or a concern for the environment.
She is an extraordinary listener, and takes seriously the concerns of her constituents.
Her skills in working across the aisle without compromising her principles have delivered tangible benefits to Lewiston citizens, and will do so again if we elect her.
