Junior hockey: Twin City to take part in USPHL event in Tampa
The USPHL has created a "Hub City" as it tries to make up a backlog of games affected by the pandemic. Each team will play 20 games in 45-day span beginning in January and ending in the middle of February.

Maine Nordiques coach says NAHL team has no COVID-19 cases
Junior hockey: The Maine CDC is looking into an outbreak in the organization, but Nolan Howe says the NAHL team is not involved in the outbreak. Also, the Nordiques' game Friday against the Northeast Generals was postponed.

Junior hockey still in limbo after Thursday’s announcement to halt games
Governor Janet Mills, along with governors from Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island and Vermont support a regional approach to stop interstate competitions among youth and school hockey teams. Maine DHHS says junior hockey is a part of this announcement, but leagues and Maine teams still want more clarity.
