Fireworks sales hoped to increase during the pandemic

Patriot Fireworks owner expects an increase in sales during the holiday this year, but is skeptical about the rest of the season.

An informational meeting regarding questions on this year’s referendum Town Meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 8.

Police believe the incidents occurred at a party Friday night.

Livermore town office staff surprised Byron, who has taken a job in Livermore Falls, with a farewell parade Friday, June 19.

The Town Office will close at noon June 30 and on July 3.

Property owners will be able to check their information online.

But towns like Paris have decided to cancel their summer programs after weighing the risks of community spread from COVID-19.

Amy Byron of Livermore will replace Dawn Young of Jay who is retiring at 33 years with the town.

The Livermore Board of Selectpersons also ordered 1,000 ballots for the Aug. 11 town meeting referendum vote.

“Students were very excited today,” Principal Kevin Harrington.
