For Maine snowmobile clubs, the season starts in October
Maine has about 14,000 miles of groomed snowmobile trails, used by an estimated 100,000 riders from here and away. A handful of volunteers from each of the 280 clubs across the state make sure the trails are safely maintained and groomed.

WEST PARIS – Multiple deputies with the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office were at the scene of a shooting on Orchard Street, according to Sheriff Chris Wainwright.
