Joel Olstein: Peace in the Middle East

In a letter to the editor (March 27), Stephen Sokol wrote that peace will come to the Middle East only when “Palestinians have sovereignty over their own territory.” I would remind Sokol (and others) that in negotiations with Israel, the Palestinians rejected sovereignty in 2000, 2002 and 2008.
